Polk County, Oregon(Dallas, OR) – On January 16, 2025, a Dallas man died in a head-on accident on the 3300 hundred block, north of Highway 22, in Perrydale Road, OR.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to reports of a four-vehicle accident at approximately 7 a.m. The initial report indicated that at least one vehicle had rolled over and was upside down in the middle of the road, with the driver appearing to be unconscious.
Deputies identified Noah Torres as the deceased driver in a 1998 Toyota Tacoma. Timothy Janesofsky, the driver of a 2015 GMC Sierra, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. All other individuals involved in the accident were evaluated on-site and did not require further medical attention.
Investigators determined that Torres was driving north on Perrydale Road when he attempted to pass a minivan and collided head-on with Janesofsky’s vehicle. The impact caused additional damage, resulting in a fourth vehicle being affected by debris.
The Oregon State Police and Polk County Public Works assisted with accident response and reconstruction efforts.
