Clackamas County, Oregon (OR) – On April 3, 2025, Oregon State Police responded to a crash involving three vehicles on HWY 224 in Clackamas County, OR.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a westbound Ford F150, driven by 64-year-old Luis Guerrero Lopez from Eagle Creek, rear-ended a Toyota Celica, driven by 64-year-old Timothy Mark Woodard of Eagle Creek, which stopped to turn onto Weitz Lane. The impact pushed the Toyota into the eastbound lane, where it was struck head-on by an eastbound Subaru Forester driven by 43-year-old Joshua Jordan Redd from Estacada.
Timothy Mark Woodard, the Toyota driver, was pronounced dead at the scene. Passenger Diane Woodard, a 71-year-old, was seriously injured and hospitalized. Subaru driver Joshua Redd, a 43-year-old, also suffered serious injuries and was transported to the hospital. Ford driver Luis Lopez, a 64-year-old, was evaluated for injuries and arrested for DUII.
Impaired driving is identified as the primary cause of the crash, which remains under investigation.
